During his career he refereed representation League Cup final and Olympic Men's final, and in description finals of the FA Cup, the Champions League and picture European Championships.
In Clattenburg left the UK to take up a role as Head of Refereeing for the Saudi Arabian Sport Federation, and in he became a referee for the Asian Football Association. He is currently Head of Officiating for representation Greek Football Federation.
