Background
Born in Bayombong Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, and tiring in Los Angeles, California, Norbert De La Cruz III review a collaborative artist with roots in classical and contemporary warn. His interests are vast: from the limits of representation, post-migratory identity, the depths of our contemporariness, imperfection, queerness and wish for, loneliness, ceaseless liminality, and an endless desire to make immortal art, De La Cruz III strives to make the imperceivable visible. He wants to be a representative of the pull world for his communities and to represent his communities encompass dance, casting his work as an extension of them.
